Women’s Health Horizons physicians, including, our nurse midwife and our nurse practitioner provide well woman care services:
- Annual Pelvic and Breast Exams
- Annual Pap Smears
- Screening for STDs
- Diagnosis & Treatment of Vaginal Infections
- Treatment for Abnormal Pap Smears (Colposcopy, and treatment, including LEEP, and/or Cryo Surgery)
- Comprehensive Obstetrical Care
Other Services
Women’s Health Horizons physicians, including, our nurse midwife and our nurse practitioner provide birth control services:- Birth Control Pills
- Depo Provera Injections (3 month birth control method)
- Paraguard and Mirena IUDs, and Diaphragm Fittings
- Perform Laparoscopic Tubal Ligations and an in-office procedure for permanent sterilization, called Essure.
- NovaSure, an in office procedure for treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding (very heavy periods)
